George is a highly skilled Chartered Civil Engineer who draws on a wealth of technical experience gained in the engineering industry over the past 26 years which spans civil and structural consultancy, forensic technical expert, client side management and Main Contractor pre construction services. My Story
George's engineering story began following the completion of his BEng (Hons) in Civil and Structural Engineering at the University of Bath. This included a thin sandwich course which saw George travel to Africa for 6 months to work on oil pipelines and civils infrastructure. His passion for engineering grew from here. George joined AKT, a progressive structural engineering consultancy, where he became a Chartered Civil Engineer and Associate. He worked on projects such as Tottenham Court Station ticket hall and prestigious complex lightweight fabric structures in Abu Dhabi .

After a rewarding 10 years he moved to Network Rail to gain valuable experience in Asset Protection in a senior role overseeing the technical approvals and technical elements of asset protection agreements for major projects such as Battersea Power Station, Crossrail-Plumstead Portal/Farringdon station with tunnels and the Museum of London within the southern region. His experience also includes working as a DPE on capital projects such as Access For All. After 5 years he moved to Kier Plc to head up the in house design team working on major projects such as Hs2 and the Network Rail electrification framework. He helped grow the business into a successful multi-disciplinary design house, increasing turnover five fold. In April 2022, George moved into a Technical Director role for a main contractor and was soon promoted to Group Technical Director, overseeing the Technical and Quality departments across Europe and the UK, specialising in Data Centre construction. Part of his role included the management and review of expert forensic civil and structural reports. He also achieved the accolade of Certified Data Centre Design Professional.
