Assemble UK are typically appointed CEM, which is the experienced Contractors Engineering Manager for the projects to assist the landowner/developer in obtaining Form A/B/C/G and method statement/WPP approvals as well as navigating the APA/BAPA process. We deliver great results by collaborating closely with the Network Rail team at all parts of the project, from planning, through to technical clearance, APA/BAPA negotiations and technical approvals.
SPECIALIST CIVIL & STRUCTURAL SURVEYS
Typical focused residential structural surveys to identify structural adequacy of property subject to historic movement caused by mature trees, missing building control certification due to conversions and extensions of dwellings.
We provide a Chartered Engineer's report with recommendations which provides the client and lenders the comfort they need.
Structural Design
This project involved both a large single storey rear extension with exposed steelwork with major ground floor modifications, along with a large loft conversion and regrading of the rear garden. The property was in a conservation area so the structural solutions had to be sensitive to the surrounding area. There were party wall issues to deal with and designing foundations close to mature trees. With a blend of modern aesthetics and expert advice, we achieved great results within deadline and budget.

DATA CENTRE CONSULTANCY
Typical projects include carrying out feasiblity and viability studies for clients prior to purchase of land. The image is part of high level feasibility study for the Island of Cyprus for a private investor who was looking to understand the constraints of building a data centre in the Republic of Cyprus, which includes power/comms, size of data centre and looking in to sustainable sources of energy back up such as solar farms with battery storage.
We also have extensive experience of carrying out feasibility studies for Plc clients in The Netherlands, Slovenia, Spain and the UK.
